Vulnerable Clients

For the elderly and disabled people who find it difficult to get about, I/T is often their best communication with the outside world. Not only does it help with contacting friends and family, but also allows for ordering shopping and prescription medication online for delivery. As most of us know, I/T equipment can go lopsided, and when it does, it can seriously disrupt a life, causing misery and making things almost impossible.

As useful as the internet is, it can also be dark and hostile. Scammers like to take advantage of vulnerable people and it has become even more rife since the start of the global pandemic. Fortunately for some - who have grabbed the opportunity to contact me before agreeing to something they were suspicious of - I was able to put them in the right direction and avoid some potentially nasty outcomes. I am also a great believer in self empowerment, so I pass some of this to my clients by teaching them how to spot on-line risks - giving them some sound knowledge and peace of mind. Prevention is better than cure.

Another aspect of my support includes helping configure computers and devices for better accessibility to suit the needs of the client, whether it be hearing, sight or other challenges.

Many of my clients have benefited from my services over the years, and one of the most common comments of feedback I've had, have been, "Don't ever leave the country." or, "Don't ever quit doing what you do." â€‹

If you have special IT challenges or you know someone who has, don't sit there struggling or worrying, just contact me. And for your peace of mind, I am also DBS checked.  â€‹
