Remote Support

Over 60% of my work these days is done by remote/telecon support, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting lock-down restrictions. As some of my clients are elderly and/or vulnerable, remote support has helped ease their worries and has allowed me to better protect them by not physically being on their premises. It also reduces costs all round, plus I can work on more than one machine at a time. Although not everything can be resolved remotely, below is some of the work I successfully do without leaving my office:

  • Malware, adware, unwanted program and annoying pop-up removal

  • Resolving printer connection problems

  • Setting up and troubleshooting email accounts

  • Fixing system and registry errors

  • Installing programs including internet security

  • Diagnosing some hardware issues

  • Operating system and software customisation

  • Software and driver updates
