ABOUT ADS IT SUPPORT

ADS IT Support is a Bolton based micro-business which started in 2009 and is owned, operated and managed by myself, Tony Syddall.

I took an interest in computer maintenance back in the early 2000s and before long I was repairing, upgrading and building systems for family and friends.
In 2008 I decided to make a career out of it and took a classroom lead Microsoft Networking course with a Microsoft Gold Partner training company. During my time there I also took on the role of voluntary training assistant for new classes, serving as a mentor for candidates as well as repairing and configuring other students’ laptops.
I later became a Microsoft Certified Professional with MCSA accreditation.
What started off as a hobby became a viable business!

Over the past 12 years or so, (and being a mobile service) I have acquired many customers who are elderly or disabled as IT is often their gateway to the outside world. As we all know, IT goes wrong, and at such times these sorts of clients really benefit from the positive difference I make. In fact, one comment I often get is, "We could never have sorted that out our selves."

 

Many of my clients operate micro-businesses like myself and use IT as a tool to manage their day to day tasks. However, a lethargic computer can quickly get on your nerves, leaving you angry, frustrated and non-productive. Why be a slave to your technology? It should be the reverse. I can help make your IT system your slave, enjoyable to use, and help you be happier and more productive in your work.
